Today the National Hockey League has announced the Rookie of the Month for the month of February 2024.
Pyotr Kochetkov (G – CAR)
- Pyotr Kochetkov would go 5-3-0 with a 1.71 goals against average, .940 save percentage, and two shutouts for the Carolina Hurricanes to lead all rookie goaltenders in the League for the Month of February.
- Kochetkov would edge out fellow netminders Samuel Ersson (PHI) and Nico Daws (NJ), as well as forwards Matthew Knies (TOR), Connor Bedard (CHI), and Tyson Foerster (PHI) for the Rookie of the Month honor.
