- The Philadelphia Flyers announced some roster moves.
- The Flyers placed defenseman Jamie Drysdale on IR.
- The Flyers sent goaltender Cal Petersen to Lehigh Valley of the AHL.
- The Flyers also recalled defenseman Ronnie Attard and goaltender Felix Sandstrom from Lehigh Valley.

- The NHL fined Buffalo Sabres head coach Don Granato.
- Granato would be fined $25,000 for unprofessional conduct directed at the officials after receiving a bench minor on Tuesday night against Florida.

- The NHL would also fine Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe.
- Keefe would also be fined $25,000 for unprofessional conduct directed at the officials after he was ejected from Tuesday night’s game against Vegas.

Game Recaps

Vegas Golden Knights v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
- In Beantown, the Bruins welcomed the Golden Knights and in the first Boston took the 1-0 lead when Morgan Geekie scored his 11th goal of the year and then Jesper Boqvist got his fourth of the year to put the B’s up 2-0. Then, Morgan Geekie scored his second of the night to give the Bruins the 3-0 lead. In the second, Vegas got on the board when Paul Cotter scored his seventh of the year and then Alex Pietrangelo’s fourth of the year brought the Golden Knights within a goal. Morgan Geekie then completed the hat trick to put Boston back up two but then Michael Amadio’s 11th of the year brought Vegas within a goal once more. In the third, a shorthanded goal from Chandler Stephenson tied the game for Vegas but then a power play goal from Mason Lohrei gave the Bruins the 5-4 win over the Golden Knights.

Carolina Hurricanes v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus, the Blue Jackets hosted the Hurricanes and after a scoreless first Carolina took the 1-0 lead with Teuvo Teravainen’s 18th of the year and then Sebastian Aho scored his 23rd of the year to put the Canes up 2-0. Columbus then gets on the board when Cole Sillinger scored his 10th of the year but then Brady Skjei’s eighth of the year put Carolina back up two. In the third, Alex Nylander scored his first of the year to bring the Jackets within a goal once more but Seth Jarvis scored the empty netter as the Hurricanes doubled up the Blue Jackets 4-2.

New York Islanders v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit, the Islanders and Red Wings faceoff and in the first Brock Nelson’s 26th of the year to put New York up 1-0 and then a goal from Casey Cizikas put the Isles up 2-0. In the second, Olli Maatta’s goal put the Red Wings on the board. In the third, Patrick Kane scored his 13th to tie the game but then Brock Nelson scored a power play goal to put New York back in the lead. Olli Maatta’s second of the night tied the game once more but then Mathew Barzal scored his 18th of the year to put New York back in the lead once again. An empty netter from Pierre Engvall went on to give the Islanders the 5-3 win over the Red Wings.

Montreal Canadiens v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
- In South Florida, the Panthers hosted the Canadiens and in the first Florida took the 1-0 lead when Aleksander Barkov scored his 14th of the year but then Montreal tied the contest with Nick Suzuki scored his 24th of the year. In the second, a power play goal from Sam Reinhart put the Panthers back in the lead but then the Habs tied it up again when Juraj Slafkovksy netted his 13th. In the third, a power play goal from Alex Newhook put Montreal in the lead but then a shorthanded goal from Sam Reinhart tied the game for Florida. After a scoreless overtime session, Anton Lundell scored the game winner as the Panthers downed the Canadiens 4-3.

Buffalo Sabres v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa, the Lightning and Sabres engaged in battle and in the first a power play goal from Brayden Point put Tampa up 1-0 but then Buffalo tied the game with Alex Tuch’s 17th of the year. In the second, Tampa took the 2-1 lead when Mitchell Chaffee scored his third of the year. In the third, Tage Thompson scored his 18th of the year to tie the game on the power play. In overtime, Rasmus Dahlin’s power play goal gave the Sabres the 3-2 win over the Lightning.

Arizona Coyotes v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
- In Toronto, the Coyotes made their lone trip to The Six to face the Maple Leafs and in the first Matthew Knies 11th of the year put Toronto up 1-0. In the second, the Leafs took the 2-0 lead when Tyler Bertuzzi scored his 12th of the year and then Auston Matthews scored his 53rd of the year. Alex Kerfoot then scored his 10th of the year to put Arizona on the board. In the third, Logan Cooley scored his ninth of the year to bring the Yotes within a goal but then an empty netter from William Nylander gave the Maple Leafs the 4-2 win over the Coyotes.

Winnipeg Jets v. Dallas Stars – 8p ET
- In Dallas, the Stars took on the Jets and in the first Jason Robertson scored his 20th of the year and then Joe Pavelski scored his 21st as the Stars took the 2-0 lead. Then, Logan Stankoven netted his third of the year as Dallas took the 3-0 lead. In the second, Vladislav Namestnikov scored a power play put Winnipeg on the board. In the third, Roope Hintz scored an empty netter as the Stars got the 4-1 win over the Jets.

Minnesota Wild v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Music City USA, the Predators hosted the Wild and in the first Minnesota took the 1-0 lead when Connor Dewar scored his ninth of the year but then Nashville tied the game when Yakov Trenin netting his 10th of the year. Then, Cole Smith scored his eighth of the year to put the Preds up 2-1. In the second, Filip Forsberg scored a power play goal to put Nashville up 3-1. In the third, Roman Josi scored his 15th to put the Predators up three and then Ryan O’Reilly scored his 21st of the year to make it a 5-1 Nashville lead. Ryan McDonagh then put an end on the contest with his third of the year as the Predators blew by the Wild for the 6-1 win.
