Today the National Hockey League has announced the Rookie of the Month for the month of January 2024.
Brock Faber (D – MIN)
- Brock Faber would led all rookies with 11 assists and 13 points in 14 games played for the Minnesota Wild. Faber would also lead all rookie defenders in total minutes (355:37) and average time on ice (25:24). He would also have 38 blocked shots (first among rookies).
- Faber would edge out defenseman Simon Nemec (NJ) and forwards Logan Cooley (ARI), Ridley Greig (OTT), and Alex Laferriere (LA) for the honor.
