Ottawa Senators v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit the Red Wings would play host to the Ottawa Senators, and in the first period Daniel Sprong would score to give the Wings the 1-0 lead. In the second period Mark Kastelic and Brady Tkachuk would score to give the Sens the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Dylan Larkin would score to tie the game at two for the Wings to force overtime, and in the extra frame Shane Pinto would score to give the Senators the 3-2 overtime victory over the Red Wings.

Los Angeles Kings v. Nashville Predators – 730p ET
- In Nashville the Los Angeles Kings would come to town to take on the Predators, and in the first period Carl Grundstrom would score to give the Kings the 1-0 lead. In the second period Alex Turcotte would net his first career NHL goal to grow the Kings lead to two. Then in the third period Filip Forsberg and Philip Tomasino would score for the Preds, but goals from Trevor Lewis and Kevin Fiala would give the Kings the 4-2 victory over the Predators.
