- PWHL action would return after a day off as New York would host Toronto, and in the first period Abby Roque would score for New York to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Natalie Spooner and Alexa Vasko would score to give Toronto the 2-1 lead, but Alex Carpenter would score to tie the game at two for New York. Then in the third period Emma Maltais would score the first shorthanded goal in PWHL history to give Toronto the 3-2 victory over New York as they earned their first win in franchise history.
