    Ottawa Charge v. Minnesota Frost – 5p ET – Game 4

    • Back in Minnesota for Game 4, the Ottawa Charge look to force a Game 5 back at home against the Frost, and after a scoreless first period, Kelly Pannek deflected a Claire Thompson shot to give the Frost the 1-0 lead. In the third period Tereza Vanisova scored to tie the game at one for the Charge to force the fourth straight overtime game this series. Then in the extra fame, Liz Scheppers would get the rebound to score to give the Frost the 2-1 victory over the Charge to become the back to back Walter Cup Champions.

    Ottawa Charge v. Minnesota Frost – 5p ET – Game 3

    • For Game 3, the series shifts to Minnesota as the Frost look to home ice advantage as they host the Ottawa Charge, and in the first period, Emily Clark scored her third of the playoffs to give the Charge the 1-0 lead. In the second period Lee Stecklein would score to tie the game at one for the Frost. After a scoreless third period, this game would require overtime, but after two scoreless extra periods, it would be Katy Knoll with a rebound tally to give the Frost the 2-1 triple overtime victory over the Charge to take the 2-1 series lead. Gwyneth Philips stopped 45 of 47 shots faced for the Charge while Maddie Rooney stopped 35 of 36 shots for the Frost.

    • In Ottawa for Game 2, the Minnesota Frost look to bounce back and even up the series against the Charge, and after a scoreless 53 minutes, Jocelyne Larocque would score her first of the playoffs with 2:35 remaining in regulation to give the Charge the 1-0 lead, but Britta Curl-Salemme’s tally with 16 seconds left in regulation would tie the game at one for the Frost to force overtime. Then in the extra frame, with 3:36 left, Curl-Salemme would score a highlight reel goal to give the Frost the 2-1 overtime victory and tie the series at one.

    • In Ottawa for Game 1 of the PWHL Finals, the Minnesota Frost look to begin their claim for their second consecutive Walter Cup as they visit the Charge, and after a scoreless first period, Rebecca Leslie would score the first PWHL Finals goal in Charge history to give them the 1-0 lead. In the third period Klara Hymlarova scored her first career PWHL Playoffs goal to tie the game at one for the Frost to send this game into overtime. Then in the extra frame, Emily Clark would score 2:47 into the period to give the Charge the 2-1 overtime victory over the Frost to take the 1-0 series lead.

    • In Ottawa for Game 4, the Charge look to close out their series with the Montreal Victoire, and in the first period, Rebecca Leslie scored her first goal of the playoffs 2 minutes into the game to give the Charge the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period, Emily Clark would score her first of the playoffs to grow the Charge’s lead to two, but late in the period Maureen Murphy would score for the Victoire to cut their deficit to one. However, it would not be enough as the Charge would hold on to defeat Montreal 2-1 for the 3-1 series victory to advance to the PWHL Finals against Minnesota.

    Toronto Sceptres v. Minnesota Frost – 7p ET – Game 4

    • In Minnesota for Game 4, the Frost look to knock out the Toronto Sceptres for the second year in a row, and in the first period Julia Gosling would score her third of the playoffs to give the Sceptres the 1-0 lead. In the second period Hannah Miller scored her first of the playoffs to grow the Sceptres lead to two, but both Kendall Coyne Schofield and Kelly Pannek scored their first goals of the playoffs to tie the game at two for the Frost. Then in the third period Emma Maltais would score 58 seconds into the period to retake the lead for the Sceptres, but Coyne Schofield’s second of the game would tie things back up for the Frost to force overtime with the 3-3 tie. In overtime with 4 minutes left in the extra frame, Taylor Heise scored her first of the playoffs to give the Frost the 4-3 overtime victory over the Sceptres to win the series 3-1 to advance to the PWHL Finals.

    • In Montreal for Game 2, the Victoire look to bounce back against the Ottawa Charge to even the series, and in the first period Kristin O’Neill score her first of the playoffs to give Montreal the 1-0 lead. In the second period Laura Stacey scored to grow Montreal’s lead to two. Then in the third period, both Aneta Tejralova and Brianne Jenner would score late in the period to tie the game at two and force overtime for the Charge. Then after three scoreless overtime periods, Catherine Dubois would score with 4:27 left in quadruple overtime to give the Victoire the 3-2 victory over the Charge to tie the series at one, and win their first ever PWHL playoff game in franchise history.

In the second period, Maggie Connors would score to get the Sceptres back within one, but while on the powerplay, McQuigge would net her second goal of the game to give the Frost their two goal lead back. Sophie Jaques would score her second goal of the playoffs to grow the Frost’s lead to three, but Kali Flanagan would score to get the Sceptres back within two. Then in the third period, Anna Kjellbin and Blayre Turnbull would score for the Sceptres, but a pair of goals from Michela Cava would give the Frost the 7-5 victory over the Sceptres and give them the 2-1 series lead.

      • Curl-Salemme was suspended for one game for an illegal check to the head to Toronto Sceptres defender Renata Fast during Game 1 on Wednesday, May 7th.
      • This is Curl-Salemme’s third suspension of the season, and second time for an illegal check to the head (March 9th v. TOR).

    Minnesota Frost v. Toronto Sceptres – 7p ET – Game 2

    • In Toronto for Game 2, the Sceptres look to grow their series lead to two over the Minnesota Frost, and in the first period, Hayley Scamurra would score to give the Sceptres the 1-0 lead. In the second period Lee Stecklein would score to tie the game at one, and then goals from Michela Cava and Stecklein would give the Frost the 3-1 lead. However, late in the period, a powerplay goal from Savannah Harmon and a goal by Allie Munroe would tie the game at three for the Sceptres.
