- The PWHL announced that the PWHL Player Safety Committee has suspended Minnesota Frost forward Britta Curl-Salemme.
- Curl-Salemme was suspended for one game for an illegal check to the head to Toronto Sceptres defender Renata Fast during Game 1 on Wednesday, May 7th.
- This is Curl-Salemme’s third suspension of the season, and second time for an illegal check to the head (March 9th v. TOR).

Minnesota Frost v. Toronto Sceptres – 7p ET – Game 2
- In Toronto for Game 2, the Sceptres look to grow their series lead to two over the Minnesota Frost, and in the first period, Hayley Scamurra would score to give the Sceptres the 1-0 lead. In the second period Lee Stecklein would score to tie the game at one, and then goals from Michela Cava and Stecklein would give the Frost the 3-1 lead. However, late in the period, a powerplay goal from Savannah Harmon and a goal by Allie Munroe would tie the game at three for the Sceptres. Then in the third period Sophie Jaques and Mellissa Channell-Watkins would score to give the Frost the 5-3 victory over the Sceptres to tie the series at one.
