  • In New Jersey the Devils would play host to the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period Jason Dickinson would score to give the Blackhawks the 1-0 lead. In the second period Alexander Holtz would strike to tie the game at one for the Devils, but Boris Katchouk would score to retake the lead for the Blackhawks. Then in the third period Simon Nemec, Michael McLeod, and Tyler Toffoli would score to give the Devils the 4-2 victory over the Blackhawks.

Carolina Hurricanes v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET

  • The Washington Capitals would welcome home Dmitry Orlov as they would host the Carolina Hurricanes, and in the first period Nic Dowd and Dylan Strome would score to give the Caps the 2-0 lead. In the second period Brent Burns would score to get the Canes on the board and back within one. Then in the third period the Canes would get goals from Seth Jarvis, Andrei Svechnikov, Burns, Orlov, and Vasily Ponomarev to give the Canes the 6-2 victory over the Capitals.
