Minnesota Frost v. Toronto Sceptres – 7p ET – Game 1
- In Toronto for Game 1 of their Semi-Final series, the Sceptres look to seek revenge against the defending Walter Cup champion Minnesota Frost, and in the first period Blayre Turnbull opened the scoring for the Sceptres to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Julia Gosling scored a pair of goals to grow Toronto’s lead to three, but later in the period Britta Curl-Salemme would score to get Minnesota on the board. Then in the third period, Katy Knoll scored to get the Frost back within one, but it would not be enough as the Sceptres would hold on to defeat the Frost 3-2 to take Game 1.
