Florida Panthers v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET – Game 2
- In Toronto for Game 2, the Florida Panthers look to even the series against Maple Leafs, and in the first period Aleksander Barkov opened the scoring with a powerplay goal to give the Panthers the 1-0 lead, but late in the period Max Pacioretty would score on the powerplay to tie the game at one for the Leafs. In the second period Brad Marchand would score his first of the playoffs to tie the game at two for the Panthers, but goals from William Nylander and Max Domi would give the Leafs the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Anton Lundell would score to tie the game at three for the Panthers, but 17 seconds later, Mitch Marner would score to give the Maple Leafs the 4-3 victory over the Panthers to take the 2-0 series lead.
Dallas Stars v. Winnipeg Jets – 930p ET – Game 1
- In Winnipeg for Game 1, the Jets kick off their series with the Dallas Stars, and after a scoreless first period Nino Niederreiter would score to give the Jets the 1-0 lead, but Mikko Rantanen would score a natural hat trick to give the Stars the 3-1 lead. However, before the end of the second period, Mark Scheifele would score to get the Jets back within one. Then in the third period, the Stars would hold the Jets at bay to take Game 1 3-2.
