New York Sirens v. Ottawa Charge – 7p ET
- At TD Place, the Ottawa Charge hosted the New York Sirens in what turned out to be a real barn burner of an affair starting with the first period as Gabbie Hughes opened the scoring for the Charge, but late in the period Ella Shelton would score to tie the game at one. In the second period Taylor House scored to give the Charge the lead back, but goals from Alex Carpenter and Sarah Fillier would give the Sirens the 3-2 lead. However, Shiann Darkangelo’s fifth of the season would tie the game at three. Then in the third period Emily Clark score to reclaim the lead for the Charge again, but Abby Roque would score to tie the game at 4 for the Sirens to force overtime. In the extra frame Hughes scored her second of the game to give the Charge the 5-4 overtime victory over the Sirens.
