New York Sirens v. Minnesota Frost – 5p ET

  • In Minnesota, it would be a banner raising night for the Frost as they honored their 2024 Walter Cup victory before hosting the New York Sirens. In the first period Grace Zumwinkle scored 21 seconds into the game to give the Frost the 1-0 lead, and captain Kendall Coyne Schofield would strike to grow the Frost’s lead to two. In the second period Jessie Eldridge and Gabby Rosenthal, playing in her PWHL debut, scored to tie the game at two for the Sirens. Then in the third period Alex Carpenter scored to give the Sirens the 302 lead, but later in the period Dominique Petrie would score her first career PWHL goal to tie the game at three and force overtime for the Frost. In the extra frame Carpenter would net her second of the game 19 seconds in to give the Sirens the 4-3 victory over the Frost.
