The New Jersey Devils would play host to the Ottawa Senators, and it would be the Devils taking a lead into the second period as Wayne Simmonds and Will Butcher would score for the Devils, while Jean-Gabriel Pageau would score for the Senators. Then after a scoreless second period the Senators would get three goals in the third as Pageau would score two more goals to complete the hat trick and Mark Borowiecki would score to secure the 4-2 victory for the Senators. Toronto Maple Leafs v. New York Islanders – 7p EST Start Time

In a back and forth contest the Toronto Maple Leafs would fall to the New York Islanders in regulation. In the first period the Islanders would get on the board with Mathew Barzal and Anthony Beauvillier (PPG) tallies. Then in the second period Kasperi Kapanen and William Nylander would score for the Leafs to tie the game at two, but Beauvillier would score his second of the game to retake the Islanders lead. And in the third period Justin Holl and John Tavares would score for the Leafs, but the Islanders would get goals from Derick Brassard and Casey Cizikas to secure the 5-4 victory.

Dallas Stars v. Calgary Flames – 930p EST Start Time

In Calgary the Flames would face the Dallas Stars, and after a scoreless first period the Stars would get on the board with a Joe Pavelski powerplay tally in the second for the lone goal of the game through 40 minutes of play. Then in the third period Justin Dowling would score for the Stars to grow their lead to two, but then Sean Monahan would score for the Flames on the powerplay tocut the deficit to one. However, late in regulation Pavelski would score his second of the game to secure the 3-1 victory for the Stars.

 

Chicago Blackhawks v. Vegas Golden Knights – 10p EST Start Time

The Chicago Blackhawks would come to town to take on the Vegas Golden Knights, and the first period would not disappoint as the Knights would get goals from William Carrier and William Karlsson (PPG) to take the 2-0 lead, but seconds after taking the two goal lead the Blackhawks would cut the lead in half on a Patrick Kane tally. Then in the second period the Blackhawks would net two more goals as Calvin de Haan and Erik Gustafsson would score to take the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Kirby Dach and Dylan Strome would score for the Blackhawks to take the 5-2 lead, but Nate Schmidt would score for Vegas late in regulation but it would be too little too late as the Blackhawks would win 5-3.
