Ladies and gentlemen welcome to another edition of TXHT Jersey Share where today we take a look at the View Askew Girls of the VASHL jersey.
The View Askew Girls (or VAG as they are also known as), is a currently defunct team in the VASHL. The team was created in 2010 with both the endorsement and sponsorship of Kevin Smith’s wife Jennifer Schwalbach.
The teams colors are pink and black, and the logo features four women as a homage to the international jewel thieves Sissy, Missy (played by Schwalbach), Chrissy, and Justice from the Smith film “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back”.
The jersey has a nice retro feel to the former International Hockey League (IHL) team Las Vegas Thunder in regard to the design of the jersey, and the way the colors are setup for the jersey. For the shirsey, it is just a pink shirt with the logo.
I really like the font used for the names and numbers. They give a very relaxed vibe to them.
Overall, these are nice jerseys. Hopefully I’ll get to wear them in a game in the future as we know the pandemic really screwed up a lot of things for us, and as we continue to get back to normalcy at our on speeds, one day that’ll hopefully happen.
