- In Minnesota, the scoring would get started when Kati Tabin scored her first of the year to put Montreal up 1-0 and then Maureen Murphy scored her fourth as Montreal went up 2-0. In the second, Natalie Buchbinder netted her second of the year to put Minnesota on the board and then Lee Stecklein scored her second to even the score. Following a scoreless third and overtime, the game moved to the shootout where Erin Ambrose scored the game winner as Minnesota got the 3-2 win over Montreal.
