Today the Professional Women’s Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of January 29th through February 4th.
First Star – Natalie Spooner (RW – TOR)
- Natalie Spooner would record two goals and an assist in one game played for Toronto. She would be the catalyst for Toronto to defeat Minnesota 4-1 as she would also record seven shots in the game. The game also marked the second game in a row where Spooner has recorded two goals. Spooner is currently the only player for Toronto to score while on the powerplay.


Second Star – Alex Carpenter (C – NY)
- Alex Carpenter would record two goals in New York’s lone game of the week. Carpenter would strike for both the game tying and game winning goals in a 4-3 overtime comeback victory over Ottawa. She would also record seven shots on goal and win 67% of her faceoffs taken.


Third Star – Abby Roque (F – NY)
- Abby Roque would record a goal and two assists for three points in New York’s lone game of the week. Roque would score the first goal for New York to kickstart their comeback and would record an assist on both the tying and winning goals for New York to secure the comeback victory over Ottawa.
