- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have suspended New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba.
- Trouba would be suspended for two games for elbowing Vegas Golden Knights forward Pavel Dorofeyev on Friday night.
- Trouba will forfeit $83,333.34 based on his average annual salary per the CBA.

- The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have re-signed forward Ryan Poehling.
- Poehling would sign a two year extension with an AAV of $1.9 million per season.

Boston Bruins v. Philadelphia Flyers – 1p ET
- On a day where the Philadelphia Flyers would induct Mark Recchi into their Hall of Fame, Recchi’s final team the Boston Bruins would come to town for an early afternoon matiniee, and in the first period it would be all Boston as David Pastrnak would net a pair of goals while Charlie McAvoy and Danton Heinen would score to give the B’s the commanding 4-0 lead. In the second period James van Riemsdyk would score to grow the B’s lead to five, but Tyson Foerster would score to get the Flyers on the board. Then in the third period Foerster would net his second of the game for the Flyers, but Charlie Coyle would score to give the Bruins the 6-2 victory over the Flyers.

Washington Capitals v. Dallas Stars – 2p ET
- In Dallas the Washington Capitals would come to town with the hopes of going into the All Star break on a high note as they faceoff with the Stars, and in the first period Anthony Mantha would strike first for the Caps, but goals from Wyatt Johnston and Thomas Harley would give the Stars the 2-1 lead. In the second period Rasmus Sandin would net his first of the season to tie the game at two, but Mason Marchment would score to retake the lead for the Stars. Then in the third period Matt Duchene would score to grow the Stars lead to two, but late game heroics as both Alex Ovechkin and Dylan Strome would score to tie the game at four for the Caps to force overtime. In the extra frame Harley would net his second of the game to give the Stars the 5-4 victory over the Capitals.

Nashville Predators v. Edmonton Oilers – 4p ET
- In Edmonton the Oilers would take on the Nashville Predators, and in the first period Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score on the powerplay to give the Oilers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Leon Draisaitl would score on the powerplay to grow the Oilers lead to two. Then in the third period Colton Sissons would score for the Preds, but Connor McDavid would score his 20th of the season and Zach Hyman would score his 30th of the season to give the Oilers the 4-1 victory over the Predators.

Buffalo Sabres v. San Jose Sharks – 4p ET
- In San Jose for an matinee game the Sharks would play host to the Buffalo Sabres, and in the first period Marc-Edouard Vlasic and Jan Rutta would score to give the Sharks the 2-0 lead, but JJ Peterka and Jordan Greenway would strike for the Sabres to tie the game at two. In the second period Alex Tuch would score to give the Sabres the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Peterka would net his second of the game and Dylan Cozens would score to give the Sabres the 5-2 victory over the Sharks.

Arizona Coyotes v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET
- In Carolina the Hurricanes would take on the Arizona Coyotes, and in the first period Logan Cooley would score to give the Yotes the 1-0 lead. In the second period Martin Necas would strike for the Canes to tie the game at one. Then in the third period Dmitry Orlov and Jesper Fast would both score in the final 36 seconds of regulation to give the Hurricanes the 3-1 victory over the Coyotes.

Vegas Golden Knights v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit the Red Wings would test their meddle against the Vegas Golden Knights, and in the first period Ivan Barbashev and Paul Cotter would score for the Knights, but goals from Dylan Larkin, Jake Walman, and Joe Veleno would give the Wings the 3-2 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Andrew Copp and Larkin would score to give the Red Wings the 5-2 victory over the Golden Knights.

New York Rangers v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In Ottawa the Senators would host the New York Rangers, and in the first period Brady Tkachuk would score to give the Sens the 1-0 lead. In the second period Jakob Chychrun would score for the Sens to grow their lead to two, but goals from Alexis Lafreniere, Chris Kreider, Zac Jones, Jonny Brodzinski, and Blake Wheeler would give the Rangers the 5-2 lead. Then in the third period Artemi Panarin and Kaapo Kakko would score to give the Rangers the 7-2 victory over the Senators.

Montreal Canadiens v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
- In Pittsburgh the Montreal Canadiens would come to town to face the Penguins, and in the first period Kaiden Guhle would score to give the Habs the 1-0 lead. In the second period Lars Eller would score for the Pens to tie the game at one, but Juraj Slafkovsky would score to give the Habs their lead back. Then in the third period Jake Guentzel would score to tie the game at two for the Pens to force overtime. In the extra frame Marcus Pettersson would score to give the Penguins the 3-2 overtime victory over the Canadiens.

New Jersey Devils v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa Bay the Lightning would look to tame the New Jersey Devils, and after a scoreless first period Nick Paul and Brandon Hagel would score to give the Bolts the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period Ondrej Palat, Jesper Bratt, and Tyler Toffoli would score for the Devils, but Brayden Point would score a pair of goals plus tallies from Steven Stamkos and Hagel would give the Lightning the 6-3 victory over the Devils.

Toronto Maple Leafs v. Winnipeg Jets – 7p ET
- In Winnipeg celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force the Jets would play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Hockey Night in Canada, and in the first period Dylan Samberg would strike for the Jets while Ryan Reaves would score foe the Leafs for the 1-1 tie. Then after a scoreless second period Mason Appleton would score for the Jets, but goals from John Tavares, Auston Matthews (40th of the season), and Simon Benoit would give the Maple Leafs the 4-2 victory over the Jets.

Florida Panthers v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
- On Long Island the Florida Panthers would come to town to take on the New York Islanders, and after a scoreless first period Sam Reinhart would score for the Panthers while Simon Holmstrom would strike for the Isles for the 1-1 tie. In the third period Matthew Tkachuk would score for the Panthers while Kyle Palmieri would score for the Isles for the 2-2 tie. Then in overtime Oliver Ekman-Larsson would score for the Panther to defeat the Islanders 3-2.
