- In Minnesota more history would be made as the PWHL would fill the Xcel Energy Center with over 13,000 hockey fans as Minnesota would host Montreal. In the first period Grace Zumwinkle would score to give Minnesota the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Zumwinkle would score two more goals for the first ever PWHL hat trick and give Minnesota the 3-0 victory over Montreal. The win would be a first by a home team this season, and Maddie Rooney would stop all 24 shots faced to earn the shutout.
