Montreal v. Ottawa – 7p ET
- In front of 8,000+, Ottawa would host Montreal, and after a scoreless first period Marie-Philip Poulin would get the first penalty shot in PWHL history for Montreal, and she would be denied by Emerance Maschmeyer. Later in the second period Hayley Scamurra would score the first goal in Ottawa history to take the 1-0 lead, but Claire Dalton would score Montreal’s first ever goal to tie the game at one. In the third period both teams would trade goals again as Katerina Mrazova would score for Ottawa while Laura Stacey would strike for Montreal as this game would go to overtime. Then in the extra frame Ann-Sophie Bettez would record the first overtime game winner in PWHL history as Montreal would defeat Ottawa 3-2.
