- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have suspended Arizona Coyotes forward Jason Zucker.
- Zucker would be suspended for three games for boarding Florida Panthers forward Nick Cousins on Tuesday night.
- Zucker, per the CBA and based on his average annual salary, will forfeit $82,812.51.

New Jersey Devils v. Washington Capitals – 730p ET
- In DC the Washington Capitals would play host to the New Jersey Devils for the second game of their back to back, and in the first period Nico Hischier would net a pair of goals to give the Devils the 2-0 lead, but Connor McMichael would score to get the Caps back within one. In the second period Dawson Mercer would score for the Devils to retake the two goal lead, but goals from Evgeny Kuznetsov and John Carlson would tie the game to three for the Caps. However, before the end of the period Michael McLeod would score for the Devils to retake the lead. Then in the third period Mercer and McLeod would both net their second goals of the game to give the Devils the 6-3 victory over the Capitals.
