• In Columbus the Blue Jackets would take on the St. Louis Blues, and in the first period Robert Thomas would score for the Blues, but goals from Kirill Marchenko and Adam Fantilli would give the Jackets the 2-1 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Thomas would net his second of the game for the Blues, but a pair of goals from Yegor Chinakov and an empty netter by Alexandre Texier would give the Blue Jackets the 5-2 victory over the Blues.

Pittsburgh Penguins v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET

• In Florida the Pittsburgh Penguins would come to town to take on the Panthers, and after a scoreless first period Reilly Smith would open the scoring for the Pens, but Oliver Ekman-Larsson would tie the game at one for the Panthers. Then in the third period Eetu Luotrinen and Aleksander Barkov would score to give the Panthers the 3-1 victory over the Penguins.
