Ladies and gentlemen welcome to another edition of TXHT Jersey Share where today we take a look at the Vancouver Canucks Reverse Retro 2.0 jersey with a very special customization courtesy of CoolHockey.com.

With what could be the end of my Reverse Retro 2.0 run here in the TXHT Jersey Share Series, we end it in high standing with the Vancouver Canucks Reverse Retro jersey from this past season, and as mentioned above I requested for a very special customization for my jersey, and Cool Hockey was able to deliver as I was able to get the jersey customized to Ethan Bear with his name in Cree Syllabics. As many would remember, in the summer of 2021 I got the Edmonton Oilers jersey through Cool Hockey with Bear’s name in Cree as well, and while I did promise to get a Carolina Hurricanes jersey with his name in Cree, I never did because the Canes barely played him. When they traded him to the Canucks, I knew I had to take advantage of the opportunity with the release of the Reverse Retro 2.0 line.
For the Canucks Reverse Retro 2.0 jersey they went with the Vancouver legend Johnny Canuck in their colors, but with both the green and blue being a little darker compared to their normal colors. The Canucks chose to go with Johnny Canuck as a way of tribute to their past before entering the NHL.
“The Canucks’ 2022 Reverse Retro jersey is paying tribute to our namesake and bringing back the legendary 1962 Johnny Canuck. Before entering the NHL in 1970, the Vancouver Canucks debuted in the former Western Hockey League in 1945 with Johnny C as their logo, proudly displaying the beloved figure on their jerseys.
The Johnny Canuck jerseys are complete with remixed royal blue, green, and beige colours and player numbers are on the left chest and right shoulder to match the 1960’s style. “

Overall this is an amazing jersey, and a special one at that. I’m really happy with this jersey and the job that Cool Hockey did with it.
