Carolina Hurricanes v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET – Game 1
- In Washington for Game 1 of Round 2, the Capitals play host to the Carolina Hurricanes, and after a scoreless first period, Aliaksei Protas would score his first of the playoffs to give the Capitals the 1-0 lead. In the third period, the Hurricanes would dominate the Capitals as Logan Stankoven would score to tie the game at one and force overtime for the Hurricanes. Then, in the extra frame, Jaccob Slavin scored 3:06 into overtime to give the Hurricanes the 2-1 victory over the Capitals to take Game 1.

Edmonton Oilers v. Vegas Golden Knights – 930p ET – Game 1
- In Vegas for Game 1, the Edmonton Oilers visit the Golden Knights to kick off their Second Round matchup, and in the first period, Mark Stone scored a pair of goals to give the Knights the 2-1 lead, but Corey Perry would score to cut the Knights lead to one for the Oilers. Then after a scoreless second period, Leon Draisaitl would score to tie the game at two 57 seconds into the third period for the Oilers, and then later in the period Zach Hyman and Connor Brown would score to give the Oilers the 4-2 victory over the Golden Knights to take Game 1 of their series.
