    New York Rangers v. Florida Panthers – Game 6 – 8p ET

    • In Florida, the Panthers looked to close out the series and advance to the Stanley Cup Final with the win over New York. In the first, Florida took the 1-0 lead with Sam Bennett’s sixth of the year. After a scoreless second, Vladimir Tarasenko scored his third of the postseason to put Florida up 2-0 but then Artemi Panarin scored to put New York on the baord late in the period. However, the Panthers held on to clinch the Prince of Wales Trophy and advance to the Stanley Cup Final with the 2-1 win over the Rangers.

    • In the Lone Star State, both teams looked to take the series lead as the Stars hosted the Oilers. In the first, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored a power play goal to put Edmonton up 1-0. In the second, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his second to put Edmonton up 2-0 and then Philip Broberg scored his first on the year to make it a 3-0 lead. In the third, Dallas got on the board when Wyatt Johnston scored his 10th but the Oilers held on as they got the 3-1 win over the Stars.

    Florida Panthers v. New York Rangers – Game 5 – 8p ET

    • In New York, the Rangers hosted the Panthers as each team looked to take the 3-2 series lead. After a scoreless first, Chris Kreider scored a shorthanded goal, his eighth goal of the playoffs to give New York the 1-0 lead but then Gustav Forsling scored his fourth as Florida tied the game. In the third, Anton Lundell scored his third to put Florida in the lead and then Sam Bennett scored an empty net goal to give the Cats the two goal lead. New York then got within a goal when Alexis Lafrenière scored his eighth goal of the postseason but the Panthers held on to get the 3-2 win over the Rangers and look to close out the series Saturday night.

    • In Edmonton, the Oilers hosted the Stars as both teams looked to take the series lead. In the first, Zach Hyman scored his 13th as Edmonton took the 1-0 lead and then Connor McDavid scored his fourth as the Oilers took the 2-0 lead. In the second, Jason Robertson scored a pair to tie the game for Dallas and then Wyatt Johnston scored his eighth to put the Stars in the lead.     • In what could be the decisive Game 4 of the PWHL Finals, Minnesota would look to remain undefeated at home as they host Boston, and after a scoreless sixty minutes of hockey, this game would require overtime, and in double overtime it was thought that Sophie Jacques would secure the Walter Cup for Minnesota, but it would be deemed no goal due to goalie interference, and shortly after Alina Muller would score to give Boston the 1-0 overtime victory over Minnesota to force the decisive Game 5 back in Boston. Aerin Frankel would stop all 33 shots faced to earn the shutout victory, while Nicole Hensley would stop 32 out of 33 shots faced in a valiant effort for Minnesota.

    • Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final would shift down south as the Florida Panthers would play host to the New York Rangers, and in the first period Sam Reinhart would strike first for the Panthers on the powerplay for the 1-0 lead, but then Alexis Lafreniere and Barclay Goodrow would score 25 seconds apart to give the Rangers the 2-1 lead. However, later in the period Reinhart would net his second powerplay goal of the game to tie the game at two for the Panthers. In the second period Lafreniere and Goodrow would both score their second of the game to give the Rangers the 4-2 lead. Then in the third period Aleksander Barkov and Gustav Forsling would score to tie the game at four for the Panthers to force overtime.
