New York Rangers v. Florida Panthers – Game 3 – 3p ET
- Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final would shift down south as the Florida Panthers would play host to the New York Rangers, and in the first period Sam Reinhart would strike first for the Panthers on the powerplay for the 1-0 lead, but then Alexis Lafreniere and Barclay Goodrow would score 25 seconds apart to give the Rangers the 2-1 lead. However, later in the period Reinhart would net his second powerplay goal of the game to tie the game at two for the Panthers. In the second period Lafreniere and Goodrow would both score their second of the game to give the Rangers the 4-2 lead. Then in the third period Aleksander Barkov and Gustav Forsling would score to tie the game at four for the Panthers to force overtime. In the extra frame, it would be an Alex Wennberg deflection to give the Rangers the 5-4 overtime victory and a 2-1 series lead over the Panthers.
