Colorado Avalanche v. Dallas Stars – 8p ET – Game 7

  • In Dallas for a pivotal Game 7, the Stars play host to the Colorado Avalanche, and after a scoreless first period, Josh Manson scored a shorthanded tally to give the Avalanche the 1-0 lead midway through the second period. Then in the third period, Nathan MacKinnon scored his 7th of the playoffs 31 seconds into the period to give the Avalanche the 2-0 lead, but a pair of goals by Mikko Rantanen would tie the game at two for the Stars, and Wyatt Johnston would score on the powerplay with 3:56 remaining in regulation to give the Stars the 3-2 lead. To cap things off, Rantanen would score on the empty net to complete the hat trick and give the Stars the 4-2 comeback victory over the Avalanche to win the series and move on to the second round.
