• On November 17th, St. Louis Blues forward Oskar Sundqvist was fined $7,392.47, maximum allowed under the CBA, for charging Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson.

• The New Jersey Devils made a couple of moves as they recalled goaltender Louis Domingue from Binghamton of the AHL, and have placed goaltender Cory Schneider on waivers with the purpose of assignment to Binghamton.

• Montreal Canadiens have confirmed that forwards Paul Byron (knee) and Jonathan Drouin (wrist) will require surgery, and will miss time.

Then in the second period Jakob Chychrun would score on the powerplay to grow the Coyotes lead to three. The Coyotes would hold on in a scoreless third period to take the 3-0 victory over the Kings.
