Welcome to Mike’s Season Ticket Holder (STH) Xperience!
This season is my first one as a Season Ticket holder for the Washington Capitals, and in place of doing Caps Game Recaps, I’ll be sharing my experience being a STH during the 2024-25 season. Here I’ll be sharing all of the photos that I take during pregame warmups, along with any FB/IG Reels and TikToks I create at the games.
I will also be doing this for any other games I may go to, whether it’s in Hershey for the Bears, or at other NHL venues for games.

The New Jersey Devils come back to town to take on the Washington Capitals.
#Caps50Facts
The Colorado Rockies moved to New Jersey and became the Devils for the 1982-83 season. The first time the Washington Capitals faced the Devils was on November 8th, 1982 in New Jersey. The Capitals and Devils tied 2-2, with Bobby Gould and Ken Houston scoring the goals while Pat Riggin stopped 18 of 20 shots faced for the Capitals.
The Capitals would go on to defeat the Devils the following 6 games to take the season series.

Thoughts on the Game
Another home game, another home loss. The Capitals I thought played very well against the New Jersey Devils, but once again, penalties (especially phantom calls against the Caps for the second straight game), and bounces went against the Caps.
The good thing I will say is that this four game losing streak at home has been one goal games, not including the empty netter in the Pittsburgh game, so the Caps have been in them.
Next up the Caps are on the road in Florida and Tampa Bay before a Black Friday matchup with the New York Islanders. The Screaming Eagle also returns, so maybe that’ll give the Caps the luck they’ve been lacking.
