Ladies and gentlemen welcome to another edition of TXHT Jersey Share where today we take a look at Ethan Bear’s Home Set 3 game issued Washington Capitals jersey courtesy of MeiGray.

With our final edition of this summer’s TXHT Jersey Share series, we cover our third Ethan Bear jersey of the series. This time around I got my first ever Game Issued jersey. The difference with a Game Issued compared to a Game Worn is that it was prepared for the player to wear, but was never worn in a game.
The jersey that you see here, is Bear’s Game Issued home jersey. He never got to wear in a game due to him being in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.

It’s interesting having a Game Issued jersey for a player. While it is cool that it was prepared for the player, it also doesn’t have the same lore as a Game Worn jersey. But, it is cool to see some of the differences that come with a Game Worn jersey.
For instance, the spot where the player tracker would go, the trainers don’t cut open the slot for it. Also, MeiGray notes on the fight strap that the jersey was not worn in a game.

Overall, it is still a cool jersey to have in my collection. It’s also great to know that Ethan is doing great since being in the Player Assistance Program. I look forward to seeing back on the ice and in a Caps uniform again this upcoming season.
