Florida Panthers v. Edmonton Oilers – Game 4 – 8p ET
- In Edmonton for a very critical Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, the Oilers would look to breathe life into playoff hopes as the Florida Panthers aim to close out the series, and in the first period Mattias Janmark would strike shorthanded, and then Adam Henrique would score to give the Oilers the 2-0 lead, but Vladimir Tarasenko would deflect one past Stuart Skinner to get the Panthers back within one. However, Dylan Holloway would score to regain the two goal lead for the Oilers before the first period would end. In the second period goals from Connor McDavid and Darnell Nurse would chase Sergei Bobrovsky from the Panthers net, and then Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score as the Oilers would take the commanding 6-1 lead into the second intermission. Then in the third period Holloway would net his second of the game, and Ryan McLeod would score to give the Oilers the dominating 8-1 victory over the Panthers to force Game 5 on Tuesday back in Florida.
