  • The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have fined Edmonton Oilers forward Sam Carrick.
    • Carrick would be fined $2,213.54 for slashing Florida Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.
    • The fine is the maximum allowable per the CBA.
