- In Edmonton for Game 6, the Oilers would look to force a Game 7 against the Vancouver Canucks, and in the first period Dylan Holloway would open the scoring for the Oilers, but Nils Hoglander would score to tie the game at one for the Canucks. In the second period Zach Hyman and Evan Bouchard would score to give the Oilers the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Evander Kane would score to give the Oilers the 5-1 victory over the Canucks to force Game 7 on Monday night.
