- In Raleigh, the Hurricanes look to avoid the 3-0 series hole as they welcomed the Rangers. In the first, Jake Guentzel scored his fourth to put the Canes up 1-0. In the second, New York tied the game when Chris Kreider scored a shorthanded goal. In the third, the Blueshirts made it a 2-1 lead when Alexis Lafrenière scored his third of the postseason but then Andrei Svechnikov evened the score. In overtime, Artemi Panarin scored his fourth of the postseason as the Rangers got the 3-2 win and took the 3-0 series lead.
