- The New Jersey Devils announced that forward Jack Hughes will miss the rest of the regular season.
- Hughes will undergo shoulder surgery on April 10th, and is expected to make a full recovery in time for training Camp in September.

Game Recaps

Carolina Hurricanes v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
- In Boston the Bruins would look to lock up the first seed in the Atlantic Division as they host the Carolina Hurricanes, and after a scoreless first period Andrei Svechnikov and Teuvo Teravainen would score to give the Canes the 2-0 lead, but Charlie McAvoy would score to get the B’s on the board and back within one. Then in the third period Jake Guentzel and Seth Jarvis would score to give the Hurricanes the 4-1 victory over the Bruins.

Washington Capitals v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit the Washington Capitals would come to town for a do or die game against the Red Wings with the playoffs on the line, and after a scoreless first period Dylan Strome would strike late to get the Caps on the board first, and then Alex Ovechkin would hit the 30 goal plateau for the record making 18th time in his career to give the Caps the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period Patrick Kane would score with less than a second left in regulation for the Wings, but it would be too little, too late as the Capitals would go on to defeat the Red Wings 2-1.

Ottawa Senators v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
- In Florida the Panthers would play host to the Ottawa Senators for the final meeting between the Tkachuk brothers for the 2023-24 season, and in the first period Anton Lundell and Nick Cousins would score to give the Panthers the 2-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second and third period the Panthers would hold on to shut out the Senators 2-0.

Philadelphia Flyers v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montreal the Canadiens would take on the Philadelphia Flyers, and in the first period Juraj Slafkovsky would score to give the Habs the 1-0 lead. In the second period Slafkovsky would net two more to complete the hat trick and the Habs would also get goals from Brendan Gallagher, Josh Anderson, and Christian Dvorak to take a commanding 6-0 lead over the Flyers. Then in the third period Ryan Poehling would net a pair of goals and Joel Farabee would score for the Flyers, but both Dvorak and Gallagher would net their second goals of the game and Joel Armia would score to give the 9-3 victory over the Flyers.

Toronto Maple Leafs v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
- In New Jersey the Devils would take on the Toronto Maple Leafs, and in the first period both team would trade goals as Nick Robertson would score for the Leafs while Nico Hischier would score for the Devils for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Dawson Mercer would strike for the Devils, but goals from Tyler Bertuzzi and Mark Giordano would give the Leafs the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Auston Matthews would net his 66th of the season and Bertuzzi would net his second of the game to give the Maple Leafs the 5-2 victory over the Devils.

New York Rangers v. New York Islanders – 7p ET
- On Long Island for the Battle of New York, the Islanders would play host to the Rangers, and in the first period Mike Reilly, Bo Horvat, and Kyle Palmieri would score to give the Isles the 3-0 lead. In the second period Chris Kreider and Adam Fox would score to get the Rangers back within one. Then in the third period Anders Lee would score to give the Islanders the 4-2 victory over the Rangers.

Columbus Blue Jackets v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa Bay the Lightning would go to battle with the Columbus Blue Jackets, and in the first period both teams would trade tallies as Brayden Point would score for the Bolts while Kirill Marchenko would score for the Jackets for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Marchenko would score his second of the game while Steven Stamkos would score for the Bolts for the 2-2 tie. Then in the third period Anthony Cirelli would score and Stamkos would net a pair of goals to complete the hat trick as the Lightning would go on to defeat the Blue Jackets 5-2.

Buffalo Sabres v. Dallas Stars – 8p ET
- In Dallas the Buffalo Sabres would come to town to take on the Stars, and in the first period Jason Robertson would score for the Stars, but goals from Alex Tuch and Rasmus Dahlin would give the Sabres the 2-1 lead. In the second period Wyatt Johnston and Joe Pavelski would score to give the Stars the 3-2 lead. Then it would be a scoreless third period as the Stars would hold on to defeat the Sabres 3-2.

Winnipeg Jets v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville the Predators would look to clinch a berth in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs as they host the Winnipeg Jets, and in the first period Tommy Novak would score for the Preds, but goals from Gabriel Vilardi, Mark Scheifele, and Dylan DeMelo would give the Jets the 3-1 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Spencer Stastney and Ryan O’Reilly would score to tie the game at three for the Preds to force overtime. In the extra frame Kyle Connor would score to give the Jets the 4-3 overtime victory over the Predators.
