- Sandin would sign a five year deal with an AAV of $4.6 million per season.

- The Florida Panthers and Ottawa Senators would make a trade.
- The Panthers would acquire forward Vladimir Tarasenko.
- The Senators would acquire a 2025 3rd Rd Pick, and a conditional 2024 4th Rd Pick.
- Ottawa retained 50% of Tarasenko’s salary.

- The Colorado Avalanche and Philadelphia Flyers would make a trade.
- The Avalanche would acquire defenseman Sean Walker and a 2026 5th Rd Pick.
- The Flyers would acquire forward Ryan Johansen and a conditional 2025 1st Rd Pick.

- The Sabres acquired defenseman Bowen Byram.
- The Avalanche acquired forward Casey Mittelstadt.

- The Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, and Tampa Bay Lightning would make a three team trade.
- The Oilers acquired forwards Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick, and Anaheim’s 2024 7th Rd Pick.
- The Oilers would also acquire the signing rights to goaltender Ty Taylor.
- The Ducks acquired Edmonton’s 2024 1st Rd Pick, and a conditional 2025 5th Round Pick (EDM).
- The Lightning would acquire a conditional 2026 4th Rd Pick (EDM).
- The Ducks retained 50% of both Carrick (to EDM) and Henrique’s (to TB) salaries.
- The Lightning also retained 50% of Henrique’s remaining salary when trading him to Edmonton.
- The Oilers acquired forwards Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick, and Anaheim’s 2024 7th Rd Pick.

- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have suspended Calgary Flames forward Martin Pospisil.
- Pospisil would be suspended for three games for boarding Seattle Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn on Monday night.
- Pospisil will forfeit $12,109.38 based on his average annual salary per the terms of the CBA.

Buffalo Sabres v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
- In Toronto the Maple Leafs would play host to the Buffalo Sabres, and after a scoreless first period William Nylander would score to give the Leafs the 1-0 lead, but Victor Olofsson would score to tie the game at one for the Sabres. Then after a scoreless third period Auston Matthews would end it as the Maple Leafs would defeat the Sabres 2-1 in overtime.
