- The Detroit Red Wings announced that they have re-signed forward Michael Ramussen.
- Rasmussen would sign a four year deal with an AAV of $3.2 million per season.

- The NHL announced that Commissioner Gary Bettman has affirmed Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly’s five game suspension.

Ottawa Senators v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
- In Florida it would be the Battle of the Tkachuks as Matthew and the Panthers would play host to Brady and the Ottawa Senators, and in the first period Aaron Ekblad would strike 19 seconds in to give the Panthers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Brandon Montour would score to grow the Panthers lead to two. Then in the third period Thomas Chabot and Tim Stuetzle would tie the game at two for the Sens to force overtime. In the extra frame Anton Lundell would score to give the Panthers the 3-2 victory over the Senators.
Dallas Stars v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
- At Madison Square Garden the New York Rangers would play host to the Dallas Stars, and in the first period Adam Fox would score to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Kaapo Kakko would strike to grow the Rangers lead to two, but Miro Heiskanen would score to get the Stars back within one. Then in the third period Vincent Trocheck would score to give the Rangers the 3-1 victory over the Stars.
New York Islanders v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
- In Pittsburgh the Penguins would take on the New York Islanders, and in the first period Marcus Pettersson would score to give the Pens the 1-0 lead. In the second period Brock Nelson, Mathew Barzal and Simon Holmstrom would score to give the Isles the 3-1 lead, but Lars Eller would score to get the Pens back within one. Then in the third period Mike Reilly would score to get the Isles back up by two, but goals from Valtteri Puustinen and Drew O’Connor would tie the game at four for the Pens to force overtime. In the extra frame Adam Pelech would score to give the Islanders the 5-4 victory over the Penguins.
New Jersey Devils v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
- In Washington the Capitals would play host to the New Jersey Devils, and in the first period Connor McMichael would strike for the Caps while Alexander Holtz would score for the Devils for the 1-1 tie. In the second period McMichael would net his second of the game to give the Caps the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Erik Haula would score for the Devils, but Alex Ovechkin would net a pair of goals and goals from Dylane Strome and Michael Sgarbossa would give the Capitals the 6-2 victory over the Devils.
Minnesota Wild v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg the Jets and Minnesota Wild would go to battle, and in the first period Gabriel Vilardi and Mason Appleton would score for the Jets to take the 2-0 lead. In the second period Kyle Connor would net his 20th of the season to grow the Jets lead to three, but Marco Rossi would score to get the Wild on the board. Then in the third period Rossi would net his second of the game and Kirill Kaprizov would score for the Wild, but Vilardi’s second of the game and tallies from Sean Monahan and Nino Niederreiter would give the Jets the 6-3 victory over the Wild.
