News

  • The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have fined Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers.
    • Myers would be fined $5,000 for elbowing Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sean Kuraly on Saturday night.
    • The fine is the maximum allowed per the CBA.

  • The Columbus Blue Jackets announced that forward Patrik Laine has entered the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.

  • The New York Rangers announced that forward Filip Chytil will not return this season.
    • Chytil has been dealing with an upper body injury (concussion) and will be aiming to return for the 2024-25 season.

Game Recaps

Los Angeles Kings v. St. Louis Blues – 2p ET

  • In St. Louis, the Blues hosted the Kings and in the first the Kings took the 1-0 lead when Adrian Kempe scored his 17th but then St. Louis evened the scored when Nick Leddy netted his third of the year. In the second, Jaret Anderson-Dolan’s shorthanded goal gave Los Angeles the lead back but then a power play goal from Pavel Buchnevich tied the contest for the Blues. Jordan Kyrou then scored his 14th goal of the season to put St. Louis in the lead but then Phillip Danault scored his 10th of the year to even the score for the Kings. After a scoreless overtime, Brayden Schenn scored the game winner, his 13th goal of the year, to give the Blues the 4-3 win over the Kings.
