- The Wild would acquire defenseman Will Butcher.
- The Penguins would acquire forward Maxim Cajovic.

Philadelphia Flyers v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit, the Flyers returned to the Motor City to take on the Red Wings and after a scoreless first Dylan Larkin scored his 20th to put Detroit up 1-0 and then Moritz Seider scored his sixth to give the Wings the 2-0 lead. Then, Andrew Copp scored his ninth on the power play. After a scoreless third, the Red Wings stood pat as they shutout the Flyers 3-0.

New York Islanders v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montreal, the Canadiens hosted the Islanders and in the first the Habs took the 1-0 lead with a power play goal from Nick Suzuki and then Cole Caufield scored his 17th to put Montreal up 2-0. Then. Sean Monahan’s 12th goal of the year put the Canadiens up 3-0. In the second, Bo Horvat scored his 20th of the year on the power playto put the Islanders on the board. In the third, Mathew Barzal scored on the power play to bring the Isles within a goal and then Kyle Palmieri scored his 12th of the year to tie the game for New York. Then, Sean Monahan scored his second of the night as the Canadiens eked by the Islanders with the 4-3 win.

Boston Bruins v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In Ottawa, the Senators welcomed the Bruins back to the Canadian capital and in the first Boston took the 1-0 lead when David Pastrnak scored his 31st of the year on the power play. In the second, Boston took the 2-0 lead with Trent Frederic’s 14th of the year but then Thomas Chabot scored his second of the year on the power play to bring Ottawa within a goal. In the third, Vladimir Tarasenko scored on the power play to tie the game for the Sens. In overtime, Brad Marchand scored his 24th of the year as the Bruins downed the Senators 3-2.

Arizona Coyotes v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa Bay, the Lightning hosted the Coyotes and in the first Tampa took the 1-0 lead when Darren Raddysh scored his fourth of the year but then Arizona tied the game when Clayton Keller scored his 20th of the year. Then, Brayden Point gave the Bolts the lead back with his 23rd of the year. In the second, Nikita Kucherov gave Tampa the two goal lead and then Steven Stamkos scored a power play goal to give the Lightning the 4-1 lead. Then, Mitchell Chaffee scored his first career NHL goal to put Tampa in the four goal lead but then Sean Durzi scored his eighth of the year to bring Arizona within three. In the third, Luke Glendening scored his eighth to give Tampa the four goal lead back but then Lawson Crouse scored his 19th to bring the ‘Yotes within three once more. However, the Lightning held on as the doubled up the Coyotes 6-3.

New Jersey Devils v. Carolina Hurricanes – 730p ET
- In Raleigh, the Hurricanes and Devils faced off and in the first Carolina took the 1-0 lead when Sebastian Aho scored his 17th of the year. In the second, the Canes took the 2-0 lead when Teuvo Teravainen netted his 16th on the power play and then Carolina took the 3-0 lead with Jordan Staal’s sixth of the year. In the third, Justin Dowling scored his first of the year to put New Jersey on the board and then Jesper Bratt scored his 18th of the year. Despite the comeback from New Jersey, the Hurricanes held on to knock off the Devils 3-2.

Anaheim Ducks v. Dallas Stars – 8p ET
- In Dallas, the Ducks looked to re-align the Stars and in the first Dallas took the 1-0 lead when Matt Duchene scored his 16th of the year but then Anaheim tied the game when Urho Vaakanainen scored his first of the year. In the second, Anaheim took the 2-1 lead when Troy Terry scored his 12th of the year but then Dallas responded when Craig Smith scored his sixth of the year to tie the contest 2-2. In the third, Jakob Silfverberg scored his fifth to give Anaheim the lead back but then Miro Heiskanen scored his fifth to make it a 3-3 game. In overtime, Thomas Harley scored his 10th of the year to give the Stars the 4-3 victory over the Ducks.

Nashville Predators v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
- In the State of Hockey, the Wild hosted the Predators and after a scoreless first, Minnesota took the 1-0 lead when Joel Eriksson Ek scored his 21st of the year on the power play. In the third, Nashville tied the contest when Alexandre Carrier scored his fourth of the year and then Filip Forsberg scored his 23rd of the year to give Nashville the 2-1 lead. Then, Roman Hosi scored his 10th of the year to put the Preds up two but then Matt Boldy scored his 16th goal on the Minnesota power play. However, the Predators held on to get the 3-2 win over the Wild.
