- The Philadelphia Flyers announced that goaltender Carter Hart will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team.
- Hart is citing personal reasons for the leave of absence.

Dallas Stars v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit the Red Wings would play host to the Dallas Stars, and in the first period Jamie Benn would open the scoring for the Stars, but David Perron and Alex DeBrincat would score to give the Wings the 2-1 lead. In the second period Mason Marchment and Esa Lindell would score and Roope Hintz would net a pair of goals to give the Stars the 5-2 lead. Then in the third period Dylan Larkin and JT Compher would score for the Wings, but the Stars would hold on to defeat the Red Wings the 5-4.

Ottawa Senators v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montreal the Ottawa Senators would come to town to take on the Canadiens, and in the first period Ridly Greig and Jake Sanderson would score to give the Sens the 2-0 lead. In the second period Shane Pinto would score his first of the season to grow the Sens lead to three. Then in the third period Johnathan Kovacevic would score for the Habs, but Mathieu Joseph would score to give the Senators the 4-1 victory over the Canadiens.

Tampa Bay Lightning v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
- In Philadelphia the Flyers would battle the Tampa Bay Lightning, and in the first period Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov would score for the Bolts to take the 2-0 lead. In the second period Cam Atkinson and Jamie Drysdale would score for the Flyers, but Kucherov would net his second of the game and Michael Eyssimont would score to give the Bolts the 4-2 lead. Then in the third period Cam York would score to get the Flyers back within one, but Brandon Hagel would score and Kucherov would score to complete the hat trick and give the Lightning the 6-3 victory over the Flyers.

Vegas Golden Knights v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
- On Long Island the Vegas Golden Knights would come visit the New York Islanders, and in the first period Ivan Barbashev would score for the Knights to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Brock Nelson would score for the Isles, but goals from Sheldon Rempal and Nicolas Roy would give the Knights the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period Jean-Gabriel Pageau would score for the Isles, but the Golden Knights would hold on for the 3-2 victory over the Islanders.

Washington Capitals v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
- In Minnesota the Wild would face off with the Washington Capitals, and int he first period Brock Faber and Marcus Foligno would score to give the Wild the 2-0 lead. In the second period Marcus Johansson would score to grow the Wild’s lead to three, but Anthony Mantha would score to get the Caps on the board. Then in the third period TJ Oshie and Mantha would score for the Caps, but goals from Joel Eriksson Ek and Johansson would give the Wild the 5-3 victory over the Capitals.
