Game Recaps

Seattle Kraken v. Buffalo Sabres – 7p ET
- In Buffalo the Sabres would battle the Seattle Kraken, and in the first period Jeff Skinner would open the scoring for the Sabres, but goals from Yanni Gourde and Vince Dunn would give the Kraken the 2-1 lead. In the second period Alex Tuch would score to tie the game at two for the Sabres, but goals from Alex Wennberg, Jaden Schwartz, and Matty Beniers would give the Kraken the 5-2 lead. Then it would be a scoreless third period as the Kraken would hold on to defeat the Sabres 5-2.

Los Angeles Kings v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa Bay the Los Angeles Kings would come to town to face the Lightning, and after a scoreless first period Phillip Danault and Matt Roy would score to give the Kings the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period Tyler Motte and Brandon Hagel would score to tie the game at two and send the game to overtime for the Bolts. In the extra frame Nick Prebix would score to give the Lightning the the 3-2 comeback victory over the Kings.

San Jose Sharks v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
- In Toronto the Maple Leafs would take on the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period Morgan Reilly and Auston Matthews would score to give the Leafs the 2-0 lead. In the second period Mitch Marner and Pontus Holmberg would score to grow the Leafs lead to four, but Henry Thrun would score his first career NHL goal to get the Sharks on the board. Then in the third period Jake McCabe, Marner, and Nick Robertson would score to give the Maple Leafs the 7-1 victory over the Sharks.

Vancouver Canucks v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
- On Long Island the Vancouver Canucks would continue their trip through New York as they take on the Islanders, and in the first period Filip Hronek and Quinn Hughes would score to give the Canucks the 2-0 lead. In the second period Elias Pettersson would score to grow the Canucks lead to three, but Brock Nelson would score to get the Isles on the board. However, Tyler Myers would score to reclaim the three goal lead for the Canucks. Then in the third period Nelson would net his second of the game for the Isles, but Dakota Joshua would score to give the Canucks the 5-2 victory over the Islanders.

Anaheim Ducks v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville the Predators would play host to the Anaheim Ducks, and in the first period Ryan Strome, Frank Vatrano, and Mason McTavish would score to give the Ducks the 3-0 lead. In the second period Troy Terry would score to grow the Ducks lead to four. Then in the third period Alexandre Carrier, Philip Tomasino, and Denis Gurianov would score for the Preds, but a goal from Radko Gudas would give the Ducks the 5-3 victory over the Predators.

Florida Panthers v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
- In St. Louis the Blues would battle the Florida Panthers, and in the first period both teams would get a goal as Brayden Schenn would strike for the Blues while Kevin Stenlund would score for the Panthers for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Sam Reinhart would score to give the Panthers the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Matthew Tkachuk would score three goals for the natural hat trick to give the Panthers the 5-1 victory over the Blues.

Columbus Blue Jackets v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg the Jets would play host to the Columbus Blue Jackets, and in the first period Brenden Dillon would score for the Jets to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Cole Perfetti and Josh Morrissey would score to grow the Jets lead to three. Then in the third period Perfetti would net his second of the game and Gabriel Vilardi would score to give the Jets the 5-0 victory over the Blue Jackets.
