Detroit Red Wings v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
- In Florida it would be a feisty battle between the Panthers and Detroit Red Wings, and after a scoreless first period Michael Rasmussen would score for the Wings, but goals from Sam Reinhart and Gustav Forsling would give the Panthers the 2-1 lead. In the second period Robby Fabbri would score to tie the game at two for the Wings to force overtime. In the extra frame Dylan Larkin would score to give the Red Wings the 3-2 overtime victory over the Panthers.

Montreal Canadiens v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
- In New Jersey the Devils would take on the Montreal Canadiens, and in the first period Juraj Slafkovsky would score for the Habs to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Joshua Roy would score to grow the Habs lead to two. Then in the third period Luke Hughes and Alexander Holtz would score for the Devils to tie the game at two, but Cole Caufield would score to give the Canadiens the 3-2 victory over the Devils.
