Los Angeles Kings v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus the Blue Jackets would look to knock the shine off of the Los Angeles Kings, and in the first period Kirill Marchenko would strike on the powerplay to give the Jackets the 1-0 lead. In the second period Johnny Gaudreau and Mathieu Olivier would score to grow the Jackets lead to three. Then in the third period Phillip Danault would score a pair of goals and Arthur Kaliyev would score for the Kings to tie the game at three and force overtime. In the extra frame Drew Doughty would score to complete the comeback as the Kings would defeat the Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime.
New York Rangers v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In Ottawa the Senators would take on the New York Rangers, and in the first period Brady Tkachuk and Claude Giroux would score to give the Sens the 2-0 lead. In the second period Artemi Panarin and K’Andre Miller would score for the Rangers, but goals from Vladimir Tarasenko, Drake Batherson, and Tkachuk would give the Sens the 5-2 lead. Then in the third period Tarasenko would net his second of the game to give the Senators the 6-2 victory over the Rangers.
Detroit Red Wings v. Buffalo Sabres – 730p ET
- In Buffalo the Detroit Red Wings would come to town to take on the Sabres, and in the first period Dylan Larkin and Robby Fabbri would score to give the Wings the 2-0 lead. In the second period Moritz Seider and Michael Rasmussen would score to grow the Wings lead to four, but Rasmus Dahlin would score to get the Sabres on the board. Then in the third period Casey Mittelstadt and Jeff Skinner would score for the Sabres, but Dylan Larkin would get the empty netter to give the Red Wings the 5-3 victory over the Sabres.
San Jose Sharks v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
- On Long Island the Islanders would take on the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period Julien Gauthier would open the scoring for the Isles, but Tomas Hertl would score to tie the game at one for the Sharks. In the second period Brock Nelson would score on the powerplay to give the Isles the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Mike Reilly and Ryan Pulock would score to give the Islanders the 4-1 lead, but Kevin Labanc would score and Hertl would net a pair of goals to complete the hat trick to tie the game at four for the Sharks and force overtime. In the extra frame William Eklund would strike with five seconds left to give the Sharks the 5-4 comeback overtime victory over the Islanders.
