- The NHL announced that Dean Smith from Halifax, Nova Scotia as the recipient of the 2023 Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award.

Game Recaps

- Florida Panthers v. Vegas Golden Knights – 8p ET – Game 2
- In Vegas for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final the Golden Knights would look to grow their series lead over the Florida Panthers, and in the first period Johnathan Marchessault and Alec Martinez would score to give the Knights the 2-0 lead. In the second period Nicolas Roy and Brett Howden would both score for Vegas to take the commanding 4-0 lead in a period that would get more heated as the game went on. Then in the third period Anton Lundell and Matthew Tkachuk would score for the Panthers, but both Marchessault and Howden would score their second goals of the game and Michael Amadio would score as the game would get very heated and result in a total of 11 misconduct penalties. The Golden Knights would go on to win game 2 7-2 over the Panthers, and take the 2-0 series lead as the Stanley Cup Final now heads to South Florida for Games 3 and 4.
