- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have fined Dallas Stars forward Max Domi.
- Domi was fined $5000 for slashing Vegas Golden Knights forward Mark Stone during Game 3 on Tuesday night.
- The fine is maximum allowed per the CBA.

- DoPS also announced that they have suspended Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn.
- Benn was suspended for two games for cross checking Vegas Golden Knights forward Mark Stone during Game 3 on Tuesday night.

Game Recaps

- Carolina Hurricanes v. Florida Panthers – 8p ET – Game 4
- Heading into Game 4 with their backs against the wall the Carolina Hurricanes would go into Florida with hopes of keeping their season alive against the Panthers, and in the first period Anthony Duclair would strike 41 seconds into the game followed by a Matthew Tkachuk powerplay goal at the midway point of the period to give the Panthers the 2-0 lead, but Paul Stastny would strike to get the Canes back within one. In the second period Teuvo Teravainen would score to tie the game at two for the Canes, but Ryan Lomberg would score to retake the lead for the Panthers. Then late in the third period Jesper Fast would score to tie the game at three, but with 4.9 seconds left in regulation Tkachuk would net his second of the game to give the Panthers the 4-3 victory and sweep the Hurricanes 4-0 to become the Eastern Conference Champions and advance to the Stanley Cup Final.
