- The PHF announced the recipients of the 2023 PHF Foundation Award
- Sammy Davis of the Boston Pride, Cassidy MacPherson of the Buffalo Beauts, Shannon Turner of the Connecticut Whale, Reagan Rust of the Metropolitan Riveters, Denisa Křížová of the Minnesota Whitecaps, Laura Jardin of the Montreal Force, and Shiann Darkangelo of the Toronto Six were all named as the winners as they would demonstrate the core values of hockey to their local communities and helpnig grow the overall culture of hockey.

- The Edmonton Oilers announced that Petr Klima has passed away at the age of 58.
- Klima scored the game winner in triple overtime, widely regarded as one of the most iconic goals in Oiles history, of Game 1 in the 1990 Stanley Cup Final against the Boston Bruins

Game Recaps

- Florida Panthers v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET – Game 2
- In Toronto, the Maple Leafs look to even the series against the Panthers and in the first Toronto gets a pair when Alexander Kerfoot gets his second of the postseason and then Ryan O’Reilly nets his third. Then, Florida gets on the baord when Anton Lundell nets his first to bring the Panthers within a goal. In the second, Florida ties it up when Aleksander Barkov scores his second and then Gustav Forsling nets his second to give the Panthers the 3-2 lead and win over the Maple Leafs to take the 2-0 series lead.


- Seattle Kraken v. Dallas Stars – 930p ET – Game 2
- In Dallas, the Stars look to even thier series with the Kraken and after a scoreless first Dallas gets a pair when Wyatt Johnston nets his second and then Evgenii Dadonov scores his fourth but then Tye Kartye scores his second to get the Kraken on the board. Dallas then makes it a 3-1 lead when Joe Pavelski scores his fifth. In the third, Tyler Seguin’s fifth gives the Stars the three goal lead but Jordan Eberle’s third brings Seattle within a pair. However, Dallas holds on as the Stars get the 4-2 win and even the series with the Kraken at a game a piece.
