Top Questions Facing the Pride:
- Can the Boston Pride rebound to Championship form?
Last season was a step back for the Boston Pride as they entered the season missing a good portion of their roster as they went to play for the US Women’s Ice Hockey Olympic Team. As a result the Pride would suffer the most as a result. This season the Pride get back Rockville, MD native Haley Skarupa, and defender Gigi Marvin from the US Women’s team which will give the Pride a boost to their team. This season the Pride will be looking to get back to their Championship ways.
2. How will all of the other new pieces fit into the Pride’s equation?
Last season Jillian Dempsey lead the team in every scoring category, but it was evident she couldn’t do it all on her own. This season she gets back Skarupa, plus the addition of players like Amanda Pelkey and McKenna Brand, the Pride are hopeful that they helped with getting some scoring depth.
