With the 2018-19 season getting ready to begin, we are going to take a more in depth look at the Washington Capitals and see how they stand and what the lineup could, or should, look like. In today’s article we will be looking at the coach for the Capitals.
Todd Reirdon:
1st Season as an NHL Head Coach
This will be Todd Reirdon’s first foray as an NHL head coach, but familiarity will be on his side as he takes over a team that he has been an assistant/associate coach the past four seasons under the recently departed Barry Trotz. Reirdon, who ran thw defense for the Capitals, will have a smooth transition due to his familiarity with this team, but he will have the daunting task of taking over the defending Stanley Cup Champions and will look to become one of very few to take over the defending champions and lead them to a second consecutive Cup after the original head coach left.
Tomorrow live on TXHT we will have our Washington Capitals Preview focusing on the Washington Capitals.
You can watch TXHT Live every Wednesday at 8p EST on both Twitch and Facebook Live.
