Boston Bruins (2-3) v. Toronto Maple Leafs (3-2)
Game Recap:
The Leafs came out flying in the first ten minutes and were paid back by a one-timer goal by Morgan Rielly. The Leafs would get themselves into penalty trouble and it would put the Leafs in a hole 2-1 courtesy of goals by Brad Marchand and Torey Krug.
The second period would deepen the hole thanks to Jake DeBrusk goal. Frederik Andersen stood his head and held the Leafs in the game, with some spectacular saves.
The Leafs would dominate the third and get rewarded with an Auston Matthews goal, only to have an empty netter by Brad Marchand ruin the chance at a comeback.
