Game Day Preview: Montreal Canadiens vs Edmonton Oilers

Montreal Canadiens (9-5-3) vs Edmonton Oilers (8-8-1)

Game Time: 9pm

Referees: #6 Francis Charron, #4 Wes McCauley

Linesmen: #79 Kiel Murchison, #53 Bevan Mills

The Montreal Canadiens come into tonight’s game after snapping their first two game losing streak in a 5-4 win against the Vegas Golden Knights. Claude Julien hasn’t announced his starters for tonight’s game after Antti Niemi picked up the win on Saturday night making 34 of 38 saves.  Carey Price has struggled all year and has yet to find his game but is crucial that Julien go back to him to give Price a boost of confidence moving forward. Connor McDavid has been held off the scoresheet in two of the last three games for Edmonton. Goaltending will be the key tonight as both teams have looked shaky in net so far this season
