TXHT Jersey Share – From the Rising Sun

Today in TXHT Jersey Share we take a look at another quality Women’s Hockey jersey from the NWHL’s inaugural season.

    Riveters Inaugural 2015 Front.jpg

So for those who don’t follow the NWHL, which you should by the way, in the first two seasons of the league the Riveters were known as the New York Riveters before they did their partnership with the New Jersey Devils going into the 2017-18 season when they would change New York to Metropolitan.

    Riveters Inaugural 2015 Back

For my second NWHL jersey I chose Nana Fujimoto of the Riveters because I thought it was really cool to have Fujimoto in the league as the first professional Japanese Women’s Hockey player. Also the overall design of the first Riveters jersey is very different and very innovative at the same time.

TXHT Jersey Share – Kicking Ice

Ladies and Gentlemen it is time for another edition of TXHT Jersey Share as we take a look at this Kickstarter exclusive jersey for the graphic novel “Kicking Ice” by Stephanie Phillips.

    Kicking Ice Front.jpg

The Kicking Ice jersey is a special one for me. I got it as part of the Kickstarter campaign for the graphic novel which is about young girls working to become professional hockey players.

    Kicking Ice Back

It’s a basic jersey, but basic works good for this one as the sole focus is on the logo and the color scheme compliments it nicely. The color scheme also works very well for the name and numbers on the back.

If you’d like to buy a copy of the Kicking Ice graphic novel, you can purchase it here.
